Carol and David are returning from London

Our daughter Carol-Ann and her husband David have returned home after living seven years in London.
Carol was telling us the story about the painful process of packing and relocating to the other side of the planet during a super-freeze in the middle of winter.
Here are some pictures of their ordeal:

David hates packing

The boxes are ready to go

Waiting for the truck. Will it be able to
turn up in this cold weather?

Yes it's here!

The truck is loaded and ready to go.

We're all so happy to see them back in warm and sunny Australia

  1. carol said they were slipping and sliding all over the footpath. They were lucky that the truck managed to negotiate the roads.

  2. that's real bad weather for a moving ! For once it snows in the UK, I don't know what happens but in Belgium its the same. It hasn't snowed for years and now suddenly since last year we have snow ! I think it is the global warming, lol !

  3. We've told our kids they have to stay there a few more years. It's the only excuse we have to get to London regularly!

In the meantime, we just keep sending them pics from home so they know that we are doing it tough too!
