Good Evening

Last night, we went to see a very funny show starring Shaun Micallef and Stephen Curry. Stephen is Barnard's brother, which makes him our daughter Sonya's brother-in-law. They are playing in Brisbane at the Powerhouse Theatre.

The show, based on Dudley Moore and Peter Cook's show 'Not Only But Also' which delighted TV audiences in Britain and here between 1965 and 1970. 

After the show, backstage, Stephen introduced us to his co-star Shaun Micallef, well known for The Micallef Program, Theatre Sports and The honourable Wally Norman.


Stephen, of course is well known for his movies, The Castle, The King, The Nugget as well as the TV show Frontline and for hosting the AFI Awards in 2008.

I just cut a trailer for a new blockbuster film that should be out in cinemas.

Local U3A Camera Club

A few weeks ago, Diane and I were asked if we would tutor the brand new Logan University of the 3rd Age Camera Club. So every second Wednesday, we gather with a group of like-minded amateur photographers and camera persons where we help each other and learn from each other.

While Bernie, his daddy, is in Los Angeles, Sonya and Fox, together with aunty Carol-Ann jumped on a plane to come up for a visit. We just love having them here. So at the moment everyone is working for the man:-

More Chateauneuf du Pape

We have visitors. Both our daughters have come up from Sydney to stay a few days with our grandson Fox. To celebrate the four of us being together, I splurged out on a bottle of Chateauneuf du Pape, well, it's been a while since both of them have been here together. You'll see lots more pictures, especially of little Fox.
