Regular readers of my blog know that Chateauneuf du Pape is one of my favourite wines. Christmas Eve and our daughter Carol-Ann and son-in-law David joined us for our Christmas celebrations including dinner with, you guessed it, a bottle of CNdP.
It was wonderful.
Lovely! Merry Christmas and a Very Happy New Year to you all.
ReplyDeleteThat should have been an inclusion on my 'things I am glad I did when young', that is pulling out a cork from a wine bottle. While there is now a generation who don't know how a record player works, or life before mobile phones, there will soon be one that hasn't experienced pulling out a cork.
ReplyDeleteDavid!
ReplyDeleteI presume that my Chrissy present of a similar bottle will be delivered today by
courier????
Some people, no names mentioned, are just too SPOILT! And worse, they GLOAT!
Merry Christmas to all at the Daisy Hill "estate" and that includes the choir singing
crows as they belt out a fine rendition of Beethoven's 5th!
Colin
It was a nice drop but not as nice as a hug from Carol-Ann.
ReplyDeleteWow... Nice Pics...
ReplyDeleteSounds like a nice time with your family and a glass of wine! Happy New Years to you and your family!
ReplyDeleteDann Prost, auf das neue Jahr! Alles Gute!

It was delicious! Thanks for sharing it with us!!
ReplyDeleteMiss you
