Off to Sin City (Las Vegas)

We head to the unique phenomenon of Las Vegas, where today's fortune hunters try their luck at the 24-hour gambling tables of the "Strip." We have a two-night stay at the Tropicana - Las Vegas.

Who knows, we might just try our luck... or maybe not!

  2. Well, if you do have a "flutter", I hope you don't have to carry your coin winnings around in a pop corn container and they cash it for paper notes! So avoid going to LAS!
Hope you manage to see one of the spectacular floor shows????
At least you won't have to be on the alert for bears running around in Las Vegas.
    Cheers

  4. It's very hot here in Las Vegas. We just arrived and are waiting for the bags. Off to see 'The Rat Pack' tonight, then tomorrow morning we flly in a chopper into Grand Canyon. No rest for us. It's a Boot Camp.

  5. The "Rat Pack" ? I thought the only one living from that group is Shirley MacLaine ( the only female member). Must be some show that you are referring to - Sinatra, Martin and Sammy and their songs??????

My dear man, Mr.Eccles, thinks as I do, that you have a strange interpretation of a "BOOT CAMP" and flying over the Grand Canyon.????
Climbing up and down seems more "Boot Camp" like!
    Cheers

  6. We've just been to see the Rat Pack starring Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr. And Joey as compare, half-way through the show, Marilyn Monroe made an appearance. It was a great show.

  7. Good heavens! More than one Lazarus! I had no idea that Las Vegas was the returning ground of the deceased! Frank, Dino, Sammy and Joey Bishop, plus Marilyn!
Good grief, I wonder will we all hit the stage after we go to "The Happy Hunting Grounds" in the wide blue yonder?
When you return to Brisbane, I think we will go and have your eyes tested?????
I suspect it is the trauma of the bus ride, that is causing these hallucinations!
    Take care mate

  8. It certainly has changed, but is still the crazy town. We had a slotmachine in our room and even on the toilet, lol .

  9. Well, we just experienced the highlight of the entire trip. We flew in a helicopter from Boulder over the Hoover Dam into Grand Canyon where we landed for a champagne lunch by the side of the Colorado River surrounded by this majestic canyon. We landed on the Indian land. Returning back to Las Vegas after lunch, now we're hibernating in our cool room.. Outside it is over 100 Deg F.

Sadly tomorrow we head to our final destination Los Angeles but we'll see Sonya, Bernie and Foxy again.
